Lucius Announce New 10-Inch Release, Upcoming Musical Guest Performance on Modern Love Live

There’s lots of good stuff ahead for beloved indie-pop band Lucius. They’ll be the featured musical performers at October’s live recording of the popular podcast Modern Love in New York City’s Town Hall. Called Modern Love Live, it promises to be a big night, with comedy, music and celebrity guests like Kate Burton (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy) and David Harbour (Stranger Things). Of course, the event couldn’t reach truly dynamic heights without the electrifying pipes of Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, so it’s good they’ll be there.

Then there’s Pulling Teeth, the new vinyl 10-inch Lucius has coming out Nov. 25 via Mom + Pop. It will be the band’s second release of 2016, following March’s LP Good Grief. Side A will feature two new songs, “The Punisher” and the title track. Side B will be, in the band’s own words, a “hand-drawn lightning bolt etching.”

Lucius  are also about to embark on a fall tour throughout the U.S., stopping first at this week’s highly anticipated Desert Trip festival. Catch them if you can—find all upcoming dates below.
