John Legend Releases New Single ‘Love Me Now’

John Legend has released his highly-anticipated new single titled “Love Me Now.”
The new single is from his forthcoming 5th studio album, Darkness & Light, the follow up to the singer’s 2013 release Love in the Future which featured the global hit, “All Of Me.”
The track was written and produced by John Legend with Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes) and John Ryan (One Direction).
He premiered the track on Facebook Live on Thursday, where he also explained that the inspiration for the track is about seizing moments in life and loving each other in the present tense.
Legend has plenty of new life experiences to drawn on for inspiration. Since his last album was released he married model Chrissy Teigen and earlier this year the couple welcomed a their first child, a daughter named Luna Simone Stephens.
No release date has been set as of yet for Darkness & Light.
